My manauls don't seem to tell the right location for the starte relay on the 78. They state on the left side of the firewall but there isn't one there.
So where the heck is it?

Class Diagram Definition | What is a Class Diagram?
A class diagram is a UML diagram type that describes a system by visualizing the different types of objects within a system and the kinds of static relationships that exist among them. It also illustrates the operations and attributes of the classes.
They are usually used to explore domain concepts, understand software requirements and describe detailed designs.
Class Diagram Notations with Examples
There are several class diagram notations that are used when drawing UML class diagrams. We've listed below the most common class diagram notations.
Class
Classes represent the central objects in a system. It is represented by a rectangle with up to 3 compartments.
The first one shows the class's name, while the middle one shows the class's attributes which are the characteristics of the objects. The bottom one lists the class's operations, which represents the behavior of the class.
Simple Class
The last two compartments are optional. The class notation without the last two compartments is called a simple class and it only contains the name of the class.
Interface
The interface symbol in class diagrams indicates a set of operations that would detail the responsibility of a class.
Package
The package symbol is used to group classes or interfaces that are either similar in nature or related. Grouping these design elements using the package symbols improves the readability of the diagram

How to Draw a Class Diagram
Class diagrams go hand in hand with object-oriented design. So knowing its basics is a key part of being able to draw good class diagrams.
When required to describe the static view of a system or its functionalities, you'd be required to draw a class diagram. Here are the steps you need to follow to create a class diagram.
Step 1: Identify the class names
The first step is to identify the primary objects of the system.
Step 2: Distinguish relationships
Next step is to determine how each of the classes or objects are related to one another. Look out for commonalities and abstractions among them; this will help you when grouping them when drawing the class diagram.
Step 3: Create the Structure
First, add the class names and link them with the appropriate connectors. You can add attributes and functions/ methods/ operations later.
Class Diagram Best Practices
- Class diagrams may tend to get incoherent as they expand and grow. It's best to avoid creating large diagrams and breaking them down into smaller ones that you can link to each other later. You can very easily do this with Creately. It helps you improve the readability of your diagrams.
- Using the simple class notation, you can quickly create a high-level overview of your system. A detailed diagram can be created separately as required, and even linked to the first one for easy reference.
- The more lines overlap on your class diagrams, the more cluttered it becomes. The reader will only get confused trying to find the path. Make sure that no two lines cross each other.
- Use colors to group common modules. Different colors on different classes help the reader differentiate between the various groups.

I finally found it.. hiding under the brake booster.
Darned old 1970's USA made auto parts... only lasting 35 years! :gr_patrio
It looks like the original. The ground connect broke off trying to pull it loose. Needle nose pliers got the blade out of the plastic connector fine. It had stuff rattling inside like grit so I decided to open it up... since I'm going to try replacing it without testing it since the symptoms point to it.. and it's so old.
Key turned to "on"... proper gauges and all lit up (oil, brake)... battery solenoid (to isolate the house batteries from starting battery) was clicking on properly so it didn't seem to be a battery problem... especially since using my battery charger/engine starter also didn't help.
The starter is only a year old so that isn't suspect. When turned to start, the battery voltage didn't drop any like it was pulling power to the starter but not turning. It could be the neutral safety switch but I'll try this first since the transmission was rebuilt in 2011 and may have gotten a new one then.
Here's a couple pics of what I found inside... plus one before I opened it. That pile of junk is rust particles!

The new one I got from OReilly (BWD S109 - made in India - pictured above) doesn't even come with the nuts!

Okay seriously? That didn't fix the problem.
Ok guys.. I need some help. What should I check next to fix this?
- Battery is (apparently) good (Tested with engine starter hooked to battery, no dice)
- Accessories, turn signals, etc power up when key is turned
- Starter does nothing (no clicking from low voltage, no grinding, nothing..)
I guess I will be out there tomorrow checking all of the wires between the battery, starter relay and starter motor. There isn't MUCH to it.. and it was working only a couple of weeks ago... but it would help if I had something specific to look for.

Check for power to the small wire at the starter when the key is turned to start position. If voltage to that wire on command and battery power to the main wire then you have a starter problem. Unless you installed a new starter it could very well be a failed starter.

Okay.. it was a false alarm. The "hot" wire blade connector was pushed out from the harness when I installed it. I took a peak in and saw it there dangling loose. :ugh
At least it didn't cross with anything grounded and create fireworks and crispy wires. I'm a stickler for disconnecting the battery when messing with wiring thankfully. So much so, I should get one of those "easy" disconnect terminals for negative.
After fixing it back in securely, it's now working just fine. It fired right up... then stalled after about 5 seconds. Good ol' carburetors!

Oh and I know now... my van lacks EGR. The harness for the relay lacks the wire for EGR.

Choose Export or Save As options depending on the Office document you're using and select PDF option. This will transfer data in files to PDF format.
Adobe InDesign
To export an open document to PDF for printing or viewing, go to File > Export. Give a specific name and location for the new PDF file. If you prefer the PDF document to have the same name as that of the original one, use InDesign document name option.
Pages for Mac
If you want to save a Pages document in PDF format, simply open the document and choose File >Export To > PDF. You can even specify the necessary settings. You can add a password as well. To do this, simply check the password box and select a password for your document.
This adds an extra layer of security to your document, even if your computer is hacked or used by unauthorized users. This is particularly a useful feature to have for files containing confidential or private data.
File Converter Software
There are many paid and free pdf converter applications. But these have to be downloaded to your system and they come with a license, especially if it is a paid tool. Some conversion software gives a free trial period to give you a feel of what they're offering and you can continue with the subscription if you're interested.
If you have printable time sheets PDF or want to post PDF forms online, such a tool will be useful as it will do batch conversions as well.
